The Diplomettes from Diplomats of Solid Sound banded together to create lush, harmony-driven feely folk for a debut album released in 2023. These long-time friends and bandmates' original songs tell stories about motherhood, personal evolution and friendship. They are part of the Mamas in Music Iowa tour with Abbie & the Sawyers and Awful Purdies.

Abbie & the Sawyers serve folksy swoons and harmonic ditties, with playful melodic (and lyrical) range. They make songs that feel warm, whether it's an uptempo summer dance-along or a slow ode for a night spent with someone you love. As described by dsm Magazine, their “unique blend of backwoods Appalachia and Midwest charm creates a sound that is stunningly intimate.”
Based in Des Moines, Iowa, band members are Abbie Sawyer (vocals, guitar), Alex Clemons (double bass, vocals), Lorin Ditzler (vocals, banjo), and Chris LoRang (vocals, guitar).
